Lorena Wiebes of the Netherlands has won the second stage of this year's Tour de France Femmes, surging to the finish in a group sprint at the conclusion of Stage 4.

The European champion, who races for SD Worx–Protime, crossed the line one second ahead of compatriot and yellow jersey holder Marianne Vos, with Ireland's Lara Gillespie in third.
Wiebes has five stage victories in the Tour overall, including two in 2022, one in 2023, and now two this year.
Stage 4 began in Saumur, with Dutch race favorite Demi Vollering on the start line having crashed heavily the day before.
Vollering, who rides for FDJ–Suez, said before the race that she felt good enough to continue.
A solo early break by VolkerWessels's Maud Rijnbeek was, later in the race, matched by Germany's Franziska Koch and Brazil's Ana Vitória Magalhães.
Rijnbeek eventually faded, and the other two were swallowed up with only four kilometers to go.
General classification-second placed rider Kimberley Le Court made a late move with two kilometers to go, but it ultimately led to a sprint. Wiebes struck inside the final kilometer and held off Vos, who couldn't get around her in the closing meters.
Another Dutch rider, Eline Jansen, finished in fourth, and three of its riders finished in the top four.
Vos still sits top of the GC, 12 seconds ahead of Wiebes and Le Court. Vollering is now in sixth, 25 seconds back.
Stage 5 will be contested on Wednesday and finishes with a sterner, hillier kick.
