Anticipated and actual compensation
According to the Zwolle side, it will receive some 275,000 euros, an amount that has not yet been confirmed officially. The club had already been paid after Reijnders' transfer from AZ to AC Milan but said it takes time for such payments to be processed.

“We have had only about half of it yet, and usually two, three years come before the whole amount,” said the chairman, Jakob Sijbersma.



Plans for the future and Reijnders tribute
The club will have to meet some conditions to be paid, such as provide official documents in English, according to Sijbersma. He likes that the money comes in dribs and drabs, which he says makes for easier financial planning. The momney could go towards expanding their canteen and building extra changing rooms as the club was running out of space due to its expansion.



CSV'28 will also commemorate Reijnders, perhaps naming a building after him at the club’s sports grounds.
