The Netherlands is in for two blustery wet days before a settled period of sunshine and showers later in the week. With wind gusts at times up to 90 kilometers per hour, the coastal provinces are likely to issue a yellow weather alert.

Weather Forecast for Monday and Tuesday
From the time of publishing this article until 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, yellow alert winds are in effect for Noord-Holland, the Ijsselmeer area, Friesland, and the Wadden Islands.
Zeeland and Zuid-Holland winds, with high gusts, are forecasted between 1 p.m. and 10 p.
m. Monday. Expect rain showers for Monday, some will enter a thunderstorm period, and the sun will shine.
Max temperatures can reach 18 degrees Celsius during the afternoon period, but the southwesterly winds will be strong. Over the overnight period, rain showers will remain possible, with a minimum temperature of around 13 degrees and the winds remaining strong overnight, particularly along coastal areas.
On Tuesday, it is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with frequent rain showers, with the emphasis on northern and central areas of the country.
Winds will settle down somewhat during the morning, and the rain showers should taper off by late Tuesday afternoon. Max temperatures on Tuesday everywhere will be around 17 degrees Celsius.
The remainder of the week appears to have alternating areas of sunshine and showers, where the daytime max temperatures will be upper teens and low twenties.
Depending on how the weekend goes, conditions may very briefly dry out, and the sun will return for 20-25 degrees Celsius. Rain or potential thunderstorm activity may return by late weekend..
