More Hospitals to Launch Specialized Long Covid Centers in the Netherlands

Four additional academic hospitals in the Netherlands are set to open expertise centers dedicated to people suffering from long-term symptoms after a Covid-19 infection. These centers aim to offer focused medical care and help improve treatment options for individuals with ongoing health issues due to Covid-19.

Opening Timeline and Locations

The first three centers opened in November last year in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Maastricht.

The next center will begin operations on June 1 at the Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC). Following that, the UMC Groningen (UMCG) will open its center on July 1. RadboudUMC in Nijmegen is scheduled to launch its facility on September 1, and UMC Utrecht will follow shortly after.
