GDP per Capita Comparison in the EU

Luxembourg continues to lead the EU with the highest GDP per capita, standing at an impressive 126,900 euros.

This high figure is largely attributed to the large number of financial institutions based in the country and the influx of workers who commute to Luxembourg but do not reside there. Ireland follows in second place with 99,100 euros, boosted by the presence of many multinational companies. Denmark ranks third with 66,400 euros, while the Netherlands maintains its position in fourth.
