Elderly Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run in Schijndel

The woman was last seen around 11:30 p.m., and her disappearance was reported approximately two hours later.

Soon after, light flashed on officers’ uniformed body cameras, and they found her body on the side of the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the police from severe injuries.

Police in Oost-Brabant have opened a forensic investigation and put a cordon around the area to collect evidence.

They are appealing to anybody who has information about the vehicle or the driver who was involved in the collision to help with their investigation.
