The Late-Night Stage: Round Two
Ter Braak komt hiermee niet voor de eerste keer in de late avond van RTL 4. She hosted the interactive daily news quiz, What a Day! During the 2024 Summer.

The programme gave the people at home an opportunity to win cash by answering questions related to current events and challenges set by a line-up of celebrity guests.

The program only lasted a month because of low viewing numbers, but it gave the audience and guests a chance to see that Ter Braak had his on-screen appeal.

Building Excitement for the Launch
The show will debut in late night on Sunday, August 31. The rest of the hosts will split time during the host rotation for the upcoming first season, but Leonie ter Braak will officially take her place in January.

With the Sunday editions of the newscast, she'll put her own stamp on sending viewers into a new week with energy and personality to get all caught up.

It is an exciting moment in Ter Braak's career as not only a broadcaster, but also an entertainer – especially on a program that mixes news with talk and personality. RTL Tonight becomes a regular late-night destination for information and entertainment with the presence of all four hosts together.

The show is right around the corner, and when we return, you will also see Ter Braak officially join the cast for the first time. For viewers, that is a guarantee of an exciting new approach — and for Ter Braak, it could be her golden opportunity to shine in one of the most competitive slots on TV.
