What to Expect: The Weather and Travel Disruption
Mostly dry at first but there could be isolated showers to start the day. It rains more often in the afternoon. Temperatures will be between 16 and 20 degrees, with a moderate to strong southwesterly wind. Showery and windy conditions will persist over the weekend.

There will be major disruptions to travellers everywhere with an all day strike on NS. Sprinter trains between Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport only are operating at reduced frequency of four per hour. The union FNV leads the strike, and is demanding a larger wage raise of 2.55 percent now on the table. The Walk-out will be on until the early hours of morning tomorrow.

Cabinet Meeting and Schedule Highlights
Today we also have the weekly cabinet meeting in The Hague. In the wake of the fall of the Schoof government there will exchange of opinions as to who will be the new men in the ministry. No deal has been reached between the VVD, NSC and BBB negotiations.
