63-year-old Suspect Arrested and Named in Murder of 76-year-old Woman
Police launched an investigation and appealed for the public's help to find a damaged Volkswagen believed connected to the crash. The request for information generated numerous tips. Police were later in a position to identify the vehicle and arrest a 24-year-old man from Heerde, in connection with the information received, on Sunday.
Two Other Men Also Detained
Two other men from Hattem aged 23 and 26 were previously arrested in connection with the investigation. The nature of their association with the incident is still being investigated by the police.
