Jada Borsato Says Waiting for Marco Borsato's Trial Was

Jada Borsato has spoken about how tough it has been to let the lawsuit filed against her father, Marco Borsato, drag on. The 22-year-old called the years before the trial "mentally very tough." The case, with Marco Borsato accused of indecent behavior, is expected to be heard in October.

Addressing the situation, Jada said: "It has been an ongoing... it's been a long time... we've talked about it, we've talked through it... I just feel like, you know, it's healing that needs to happen. I tried not to read too much about it to get by. Fortunately, we have really leaned on each other for support these years. "But mentally, it's just been so tough."

Family and Their Bond with Each Other Endures Despite Struggles
Jada revealed her family is also okay "under the circumstances." She added, "It's nice to have a little less media attention, I must say. Which, I think, makes everyone feel a little more comfortable. Still, it's a tough time. We're all hoping it will end soon in a positive way.

Honoring Her Father's Music
This summer, Jada will perform songs by her and her father. "I don't have enough of my own songs for a full show yet, so I'll be doing a lot of his music too. And that's also my way of showing support" she added.

She admitted to me that a lot of people are reluctant to play Marco Borsato's records because of the case. But there are still people who appreciate it, she thinks. "People are always going to need his music, and I think it's really beautiful for me to be able to pay homage to the amazing songs that he wrote.
